Google Ads Agency
in Newcastle

Newcastle is an inland industrial town, not a slice of the coast, and it needs an account built that way. Coal, steel and the big textile factories buy through procurement, the winters are genuinely cold, and the majority of the searching happens in isiZulu. We build Amajuba accounts around all three. From R4,500 a month. No lock-in.

Documented Client Accounts

5.93×Blended return, three accounts

4Accounts with dashboards

Four client accounts published with their account screenshots. The returns above are ratios, so they read the same in rand as they do in dollars. All four are American accounts. None of them is a Newcastle account, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Judge the method, then read the numbers and the reconciliation notes on the results page.

Coastal templates fail here.
Newcastle is its own market.

Most KwaZulu-Natal advertising is written for Durban. Newcastle sits far to the north, colder, more industrial and more isiZulu than the coast, and a copied-across account is wrong in several directions at once.

Industry, not households

Contract work does not answer a 4pm call

The coal operations, the steel and engineering shops and the large textile and garment factories buy through purchase orders, approved suppliers and scheduled maintenance windows. Even if you also serve homes, that is a separate campaign with a separate conversion action, not one blended budget.

Cold winters change the calendar

Newcastle gets a real winter

Unlike the coast, Newcastle has proper cold months, which lifts heating, geyser and indoor trade demand in winter and shifts storm-driven work into summer. A flat annual budget copied off a Durban account is wrong in both seasons.

isiZulu is the majority language

Madadeni and Osizweni search in isiZulu

With Madadeni and Osizweni on the doorstep, a very large share of service searching happens in isiZulu, and almost nobody bids on it. The terms cost next to nothing to add and the auction on them is close to empty.

A long drive to anywhere

You serve Amajuba, not a metro

Newcastle is hours from the next real centre, so a wide radius buys towns you will never reach. We set presence-only and build around the district you actually service, which is usually the single biggest saving in the account.

Suburbs we build Newcastle campaigns around: Newcastle CBD, Arbor Park, Hutten Heights, Lennoxton, Aviary Hill, Signal Hill, Fairleigh, Barry Hertzog Park, Sunnyridge, Ncandu Park, Madadeni, Osizweni and the wider Newcastle municipality.

Where Newcastle demand
actually sits.

An industrial northern town with cold winters and a majority-isiZulu search market shapes a very different trade mix to the coast.

Electricians

Three-phase and industrial fault work around the factories and mills, alongside compliance certificates on property transfers. The industrial lane has its own buyers and belongs in its own campaign.

Plumbers

Burst geysers and winter freezing across the older suburbs, plus a steady isiZulu keyword lane almost nobody is bidding on. Cheaper clicks for the same booked job.

HVAC & Aircon

Unlike the coast, heating matters here as much as cooling, which stretches the season across the whole year. Most accounts bid it like a short summer window and miss half of it.

Roofing Companies

Highveld-style summer storms drive leak and repair demand in bursts from around October to March. Front-load the budget into those months instead of spreading it flat.

Construction & Renovations

Renovation and extension work on established housing stock, plus industrial and agricultural building on a long, quote-heavy cycle. Counting form fills alone trains the account to find the wrong people.

Cleaning Companies

Factories, offices and institutions buy cleaning on annual contracts through a facilities desk. That is a different campaign to domestic work, with a different buyer and a different close.

We also build campaigns in Ladysmith, Pietermaritzburg and Durban.

Newcastle clicks that look
like work and are not.

An industrial employment hub creates a very particular kind of budget leak, and it is not the one a coastal town has.

Job seekers

“Newcastle jobs”, “vacancy”

Newcastle has enormous employment search volume from the mines and factories, and it collides with almost every trade keyword. Without jobs, vacancy, salary, learnership and apprenticeship in the negatives, you are running a recruitment campaign at your own expense.

Product and supplier

“coal price”, “steel supplier”

Industrial product and commodity searches sit inside many trade terms here because the wholesalers and mills are local. You want the person with a problem, not the person pricing a tonne of material.

Training searches

“boilermaker course”

Trade-training providers advertise heavily in an industrial town, which fills the auction with study intent hiding behind trade keywords. It converts to nothing for you and it is easy to block.

Out of area

Dundee, Vryheid and the Free State edge

A wide radius from Newcastle reaches towns and even another province you may not service. If you do not travel to Dundee or Volksrust, every click from there is a donation.

Every one of these is something we have pulled out of a real account. The free audit tells you which of them your budget is funding right now.

What Newcastle businesses ask us.

Do I need isiZulu keywords in Newcastle?

They are worth adding because they cost almost nothing and the auction on them is thin. Keep the expectation honest though: the English volume is bigger and will still bring most of your leads. We add the terms, watch what they do for a month, then decide whether they have earned their own ad copy.

Is it worth advertising in winter here?

Yes, and the mix changes rather than stops. Heating, geyser and indoor work climb in the cold months while storm-driven roofing quietens, so the budget should move between categories rather than shrink. That inland swing is the opposite of how a coastal account behaves.

Are Newcastle clicks cheaper than Durban's?

In most trades, yes. The auction here is shallower and fewer national aggregators are bidding it up, which is a real advantage for a modest budget. It is also the reason a badly built account can waste money here for years without anybody noticing.

Would you take on a second business like mine in Newcastle?

No. One business per trade per area. Putting two of our own clients through the same auction lifts the price for both and only one of them gets the click. Ask any agency pitching you the same question.

Is there a contract?

There is nothing to cancel out of. It runs month to month, you can stop at the end of any month, and the Google Ads account is registered in your name, so the history, the conversion data and the audiences stay with you.
