For South African Aircon & HVAC Contractors
Google Ads Agency
for HVAC Companies
We run Google Ads for aircon and HVAC companies, so the enquiries come from people who want a unit installed or serviced — not from the far larger crowd shopping for the cheapest aircon at a retailer. From R3,500 a month. No lock-in.
Google Ads Certified · In the industry since 2018 · One specialist, not an account manager
Documented Client Accounts
Four client accounts published with their account screenshots, in USD. None of them is an HVAC account, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Judge the method, then read the numbers and the reconciliation notes on the results page.
What You Get
Google Ads for aircon companies,
run by one specialist.
No junior account manager, no rotating team, no 12-month contract. You deal with Vogien directly, every time.
Retail intent stripped out
This is the defining problem in HVAC. Most people searching “air conditioner” want to buy a box, not hire an installer. Exact and phrase match plus a hard negative list keep you out of that auction, where you cannot compete and would not want to.
Service contracts treated as the asset
A once-off install is revenue. A service agreement is an annuity. The account is built so recurring maintenance work gets its own bids, because a contract is worth many times a single call-out.
Budget paced to the heat
Install demand spikes with the first real heat and again before December. Budget moves into those weeks instead of sitting flat through a mild September.
Call tracking on every lead
A dead aircon in February converts on the phone. We track calls with a minimum duration, so the bidding learns from real jobs instead of wrong numbers.
You own everything
Your Google Ads account, your billing, your data. Leave whenever you like and the account, history and conversion data stay with you.
One HVAC company per area
We will not take a second aircon client in your service area. Bidding two clients against each other raises both their costs.
Built For HVAC Companies
Four kinds of work.
Four different campaigns.
HVAC has the worst signal-to-noise ratio of any trade on this list, because the same words are used by people buying a product and people hiring a contractor.
01 · Highest ticket
Installation & supply-fit
New splits, multi-splits, ducted systems, replacements. A considered purchase with quotes compared, so the conversion is a site survey booked. This is also the group where retail searches do the most damage, so it runs on the tightest match types in the account.
02 · Fastest to close
Repairs, gas & fault finding
Not cooling, leaking, gas regas, error codes, noisy units. Urgent and phone-driven, and it peaks on the hottest days of the year. Own budget and bids so a heatwave does not exhaust the month by the third day.
03 · Recurring revenue
Service & maintenance contracts
Cleaning, servicing, filter and coil work, annual agreements. Lower value per enquiry and far higher lifetime value, which means it justifies a much higher cost per lead than a single repair — something almost no HVAC account accounts for.
04 · Biggest contracts
Commercial & refrigeration
Offices, retail, restaurants, cold rooms, coldrooms and commercial refrigeration. Low volume, long cycle, highest value per win. Given its own keywords and its own patience, because it will never look good on a 30-day report.
Stop Paying For These
The searches that look like
aircon work and are not.
This is where most HVAC budgets actually go. Blocked from day one.

Questions
What HVAC companies ask us.
Why do my ads get clicks but no calls?
Because most of the clicks are shoppers. “Air conditioner” and “aircon” are product searches far more often than service searches, and on broad match you are bidding against retailers with far bigger budgets and a completely different goal. The fix is not better ads, it is tighter match types and a negative list that removes the retail intent entirely.
Is it worth advertising in winter?
Yes, but on different keywords. Install demand falls and service, maintenance and heating enquiries hold up — and it is the cheapest time of year to win a service agreement that pays through the following summer. What does not work is running your summer install campaign at summer budgets into June.
How much should I pay for a service contract lead?
More than for a repair lead, which is the opposite of how most accounts are set up. If a maintenance agreement runs for three years, its value is a multiple of a single call-out, so it can carry a much higher cost per lead and still be the most profitable line in the account. Getting that ratio right is most of the work.
How soon do the calls start?
Search ads can serve within a day of going live, so the first calls usually come the same week. What takes 30 to 60 days is getting the cost per booked job down — that needs real search term data and enough conversions for the bidding to learn from.
Will you work with another aircon company in my area?
No. Bidding two clients against each other in the same auction raises both their costs and only one can win the click. Worth asking any agency before you sign anything.
Am I locked in?
No. Month to month, cancel any time, and the Google Ads account stays yours — with all the history and conversion data in it. If we are not earning the fee you should be able to leave without a phone call about it.
