Google Ads Agency
for Security Companies

We run Google Ads for security companies, so the enquiries come from people who want an alarm, armed response or camera installed now — not the enormous flood of job seekers, guarding tenders and DIY shoppers that the word “security” pulls in. From R4,500 a month. No lock-in. You keep your own account.

Google Ads Certified · In the industry since 2018 · One specialist, not an account manager

Documented Client Accounts

5.93×Blended return, three accounts
6.83×Best single account
−50%Cost per lead, best case
4Accounts with dashboards

Four client accounts published with their account screenshots, returns shown as ratios so they read the same in rand as in dollars. All four are American accounts. None of them is a Security Companies account, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Judge the method, then read the numbers on the results page.

Google Ads for security companies,
run by one specialist.

No junior account manager, no rotating team, no 12-month contract. You deal with Vogien directly, every time.

A campaign per service

Alarms and armed response, CCTV and fencing, monitoring and commercial each get their own budgets — so a low-value search can’t drain the install budget.

Every lead tracked

Security converts on the phone. We track calls with a minimum duration so the bidding learns from real enquiries, not hang-ups and wrong numbers.

Wasted spend blocked

A negative keyword list built for security on day one, then extended every week from your actual search terms report.

Weekly optimisation

Reviewed every week, not every quarter. Bids, search terms, ad copy and budget pacing — pushing your cost per booked job down.

You own everything

Your Google Ads account, your billing, your data. Leave whenever you like and the account, history and conversion data stay with you.

One security firm per area

We won’t take a second security client in your service area. Bidding two firms against each other in the same auction raises both their costs.

Four kinds of security work.
Four different campaigns.

Most security accounts blend alarms, cameras and commercial into one budget — so every bid is wrong for something.

01 · Recurring revenue

Alarms & armed response

Monthly-monitoring sign-ups and “my alarm isn’t working” urgency. Fast decisions, annuity income — its own budget and after-hours bids so it is live when break-ins happen.

02 · Highest ticket

CCTV & electric fencing

Capital installs, comparison-shopped and form-led. Judged on quotes that become installs, with a landing built to answer the “how much” question up front.

03 · The annuity

Monitoring & service contracts

Upgrades, faults and take-over of existing systems. Low cost per lead, high lifetime value, and the base most security businesses actually run on.

04 · Biggest contracts

Commercial & estates

Business premises, complexes and body corporate — guarding plus technology. Low volume, high value, long cycle, given its own keywords and patience.

The searches that look like
security work and are not.

This is where most security budgets actually go. Blocked from day one.

What security companies ask us.

Security is too competitive — the big national companies dominate.

They dominate the broad, generic terms, and you should not fight them there. The winnable ground is specific: your suburb, a single service, and ‘now’ intent like a fault or an install. A tightly built local account beats a national giant on “armed response [your suburb]” far more often than on “security”. The audit shows which specific terms are actually within reach for you.

How much should I spend on ads?

Enough to still be showing at the moment someone is ready to buy, because that is the part that cannot be faked. A budget that runs out by mid-morning is not a small campaign, it is an absent one. We would rather start you on fewer areas with proper coverage than spread thin and lose every auction that mattered.

How soon do the leads start?

Search ads can serve within a day of going live, so the first enquiries usually come the same week. What takes 30 to 60 days is getting the cost per booked job down — that needs real search-term data and enough conversions for the bidding to learn from.

Do I need a website?

You need a page that loads fast on a phone and puts your number and a quote form where someone can reach you in one tap. That is a lower bar than a full website. If it is the thing standing between you and running ads properly, say so — better to solve it than to buy clicks that land somewhere slow.

Will you work with another security company in my area?

No. Bidding two clients against each other in the same auction raises both their costs and only one can win the click. Worth asking any agency before you sign anything.

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month, cancel any time, and the Google Ads account stays yours — with all the history and conversion data in it. If we are not earning the fee you should be able to leave without a phone call about it.

budget hits job seekers.

Send your details and Vogien will go through the account personally — how much of last month went to PSIRA and guarding-job searches, whether you are wasting money fighting the nationals on broad terms, and what the negative list is missing. Straight answer either way.
