For South African Pest Control Businesses
Google Ads Agency
for Pest Control
We run Google Ads for pest control businesses, so the phone rings with someone who has rats in the roof or a wasp nest right now — not people googling home remedies and rat-poison prices. Urgent, seasonal and contract work, each in its own place. From R4,500 a month. No lock-in. You keep your own account.
Google Ads Certified · In the industry since 2018 · One specialist, not an account manager
Documented Client Accounts
Four client accounts published with their account screenshots, returns shown as ratios so they read the same in rand as in dollars. All four are American accounts. None of them is a Pest Control account, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Judge the method, then read the numbers on the results page.
What You Get
Google Ads for pest control,
run by one specialist.
No junior account manager, no rotating team, no 12-month contract. You deal with Vogien directly, every time.
A campaign per job type
Emergency call-outs, recurring contracts, seasonal treatments and fumigation each get their own budgets and bids — so cheap once-off searches can’t starve the contract work.
Call tracking on every lead
Pest control converts on the phone. We track calls with a minimum duration, so the bidding learns from real bookings instead of wrong numbers.
Wasted spend blocked
A negative keyword list built for pest control on day one, then extended every week from your actual search terms report.
Weekly optimisation
Reviewed every week, not every quarter. Bids, search terms, ad copy and budget pacing — pushing your cost per booked job down.
You own everything
Your Google Ads account, your billing, your data. Leave whenever you like and the account, history and conversion data stay with you.
One pest company per area
We won’t take a second pest control client in your service area. Bidding two companies against each other in the same auction raises both their costs.
Built For Pest Control
Four kinds of pest work.
Four different campaigns.
Most pest accounts run everything through one ad group, which is why the profitable contract work gets crowded out by cheap once-off calls.
01 · Highest urgency
Emergency infestations
Rats in the roof, bees and wasps, snakes, cockroaches. Decided before the search starts — they phone whoever answers. Own budget and after-hours bids.
02 · Highest lifetime value
Contracts & routine treatments
Monthly and quarterly cover for restaurants, offices and complexes. The annuity of a pest business — its own campaign, judged on contracts won, not once-off calls.
03 · Seasonal spikes
Seasonal treatments
Termites, fleas, mosquitoes and ants surge with the warm months. Budget that flexes with the season instead of sitting flat and missing the peak.
04 · High value
Fumigation & certificates
Clearance certificates for property sales and export, bird proofing and industrial fumigation. Form-and-quote led, high value, and searched very differently to a rat call.
Stop Paying For These
The searches that look like
pest work and are not.
This is where most pest control budgets actually go. Blocked from day one.

Questions
What pest control businesses ask us.
Should I pause my ads in winter?
Rarely pause, usually reshape. Rats move indoors in the cold and fumigation certificates don’t care about the season, so demand shifts rather than stops. We move budget between categories with the season instead of switching the account off and losing the momentum you built.
How much should I spend on ads?
Enough to still be showing at the moment someone is ready to buy, because that is the part that cannot be faked. A budget that runs out by mid-morning is not a small campaign, it is an absent one. We would rather start you on fewer areas with proper coverage than spread thin and lose every auction that mattered.
How soon do the leads start?
Search ads can serve within a day of going live, so the first enquiries usually come the same week. What takes 30 to 60 days is getting the cost per booked job down — that needs real search-term data and enough conversions for the bidding to learn from.
Do I need a website?
You need a page that loads fast on a phone and puts your number and a quote form where someone can reach you in one tap. That is a lower bar than a full website. If it is the thing standing between you and running ads properly, say so — better to solve it than to buy clicks that land somewhere slow.
Will you work with another pest control company in my area?
No. Bidding two clients against each other in the same auction raises both their costs and only one can win the click. Worth asking any agency before you sign anything.
Am I locked in?
No. Month to month, cancel any time, and the Google Ads account stays yours — with all the history and conversion data in it. If we are not earning the fee you should be able to leave without a phone call about it.
