Google Ads
for Physiotherapists

We run Google Ads for physiotherapists around the way patients actually search — for the problem, not the profession. People look for help with a sore back, a knee injury or rehab after an operation, and far more of them are looking for free stretches than for an appointment. Custom pricing. No lock-in. You keep your own account.

Google Ads for physios,
run by one specialist.

A practice fills its diary from bookings, not clicks, and the account is built around that. You deal with Vogien and Tumaini directly, every time.

Campaigns by condition

Back pain, sports injuries and post-operative rehab each get their own ads and landing sections, written in the words patients use.

Free-exercise traffic blocked

Stretches, exercises and home-treatment searches are negated before launch. They are the biggest single waste in physio accounts.

Written inside the rules

Ads and pages are written with HPCSA advertising rules in mind, and Google restricts targeting on health conditions, so search does the work.

Bookings tracked, not clicks

Calls, forms and online bookings are all tracked and fed back to Google, so the bidding learns which searches filled the diary.

You own everything

Your Google Ads account, your billing, your data. Leave whenever you like and the account history stays with you.

One practice per area

We won’t take a second physio practice in your area. Two practices bidding on “physio [your suburb]” only raise each other’s costs.

Four kinds of patients.
Four different campaigns.

A single “physiotherapist” ad group misses most of your patients, because most of them never type the word.

01 · Highest volume

Back, neck & joint pain

The bulk of demand, described in plain language. Worth bidding on hard, as long as the exercise and home-remedy searches around it are filtered out.

02 · Urgent

Sports injuries

Runners, rugby and gym injuries with a clear goal of getting back to it. Fast decisions and strong referral value inside clubs.

03 · Referral-led

Post-operative rehab

Knee, hip and shoulder rehab after surgery. Often surgeon-referred, but many patients still search to choose a practice near home.

04 · Specialist

Specialised care

Pelvic health, paediatrics, neuro rehab or dry needling — whatever your practice is known for. Lower volume, less competition, and a clearer reason to choose you.

The searches that look like
patients and are not.

This is where most of the budget actually goes. Blocked from day one.

Why the condition matters
more than the job title.

Almost nobody wakes up wanting a physiotherapist. They want their back to stop hurting, or to run again by next season. The searches that fill a diary are about the problem, and most practice accounts only bid on the profession.

Medical aid changes the conversation too. Whether you bill schemes directly or work cash-first affects who the ad should speak to and what the landing page must answer before someone books. We ask on day one and build it into the copy.

Google also limits audience targeting and remarketing built on health conditions, so a physio account can’t lean on the audience tricks other accounts use. Search intent carries it, which is why the budget leaks we check in every audit matter even more here.

Custom pricing.
Cancel any time.

Your pricing is custom. After a free audit and a conversation about your goals, we scope a management fee around how much you want to invest — separate from your ad spend, which stays in your own account, on your own card, and we never touch it. No lock-in and no notice period.

What physiotherapists ask us.

Are there rules about how physios can advertise?

Yes. HPCSA ethical rules govern how practitioners advertise, and Google applies its own healthcare policies on top. We write ads and pages that stay inside both, without claims of superiority or guaranteed outcomes.

Can you target people with a specific condition?

Not by audience — Google restricts targeting based on health conditions. We reach them through what they search, which is the stronger signal anyway: someone typing “physio for a torn hamstring” has already told you what they need.

How much should a practice spend?

Enough to be visible every day for your main conditions in your area, rather than a little on everything. The Google Ads cost calculator gives a starting range for physiotherapists, and the audit narrows it.

How soon do bookings start?

Search ads can serve within a day of launch, so the first enquiries usually arrive that week. Getting the cost per booking down takes 30 to 60 days of real search-term data.

Will you work with another physio in our area?

No. Two practices in the same auction only raise each other’s costs, and only one gets the patient.

Are we locked in?

No. Month to month, cancel any time, and the account stays in your practice’s name.

Other trades we build campaigns for.
