Google Ads Agency
for Solar Installers

We run Google Ads for solar and backup power installers, so your quotes come from people ready to buy a system — not job seekers, DIY researchers and window-shoppers who were never going to afford it. Load-shedding created the demand; a properly built account is what turns it into signed installs. From R4,500 a month. No lock-in. You keep your own account.

Documented Client Accounts

5.93×Blended return, three accounts

4Accounts with dashboards

Four client accounts published with their account screenshots, returns shown as ratios so they read the same in rand as in dollars. All four are American accounts. None of them is a Solar Installers account, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Judge the method, then read the numbers on the results page.

Google Ads for solar installers,
run by one specialist.

No junior account manager, no rotating team, no 12-month contract. You deal with Vogien directly, every time.

A campaign per system type

Backup and inverters, full solar, service and commercial each get their own budgets and bids — so a cheap R2,000 job can’t eat the money meant for a R180,000 install.

Every lead tracked

Solar converts on calls and forms. We track both, with call-duration filters, so the bidding learns from real quote requests instead of wrong numbers.

Wasted spend blocked

A negative keyword list built for solar on day one, then extended every week from your actual search terms report.

Weekly optimisation

Reviewed every week, not every quarter. Bids, search terms, ad copy and budget pacing — pushing your cost per booked install down.

You own everything

Your Google Ads account, your billing, your data. Leave whenever you like and the account, history and conversion data stay with you.

One installer per area

We won’t take a second solar client in your service area. Bidding two installers against each other in the same auction raises both their costs.

Four kinds of solar work.
Four different campaigns.

Most solar accounts run backup, full systems and service through one budget. That is why the big installs get outbid by cheap inverter clicks.

01 · Fastest decision

Backup power & inverters

Load-shedding-driven, smaller ticket, quick decision — “I want backup now.” Its own budget and bids so it captures urgent demand without swallowing the money meant for full systems.

02 · Highest ticket

Full solar & hybrid systems

Big capital outlay, long consideration, finance questions. Form-led and comparison-shopped, judged on quotes that turn into installs — never on lead volume alone.

03 · Recurring & loyal

Service, repairs & cleaning

Existing-owner faults, panel cleaning, battery and inverter replacement. Cheap to win, high loyalty, and usually ignored by accounts chasing only new installs.

04 · Biggest contracts

Commercial & agricultural

Three-phase, C&I rooftops and farm systems. Low volume, very high value, long cycle — given its own keywords and the patience a 30-day report won’t show.

The searches that look like
solar work and are not.

This is where most solar budgets actually go. Blocked from day one.

What solar installers ask us.

The leads are all people who can’t afford it.

That is almost always a targeting and messaging problem, not a demand problem. An account bidding broad on “solar” with no price signal in the ad collects dreamers. We qualify up front — system-type keywords, a ‘from’ figure or finance mention in the copy, and a landing page that filters — so the quotes that reach you are closer to ready. The audit shows how much of your current spend went to unqualified clicks.

How much should I spend on ads?

Enough to still be showing at the moment someone is ready to buy, because that is the part that cannot be faked. A budget that runs out by mid-morning is not a small campaign, it is an absent one. We would rather start you on fewer areas with proper coverage than spread thin and lose every auction that mattered.

How soon do the leads start?

Search ads can serve within a day of going live, so the first enquiries usually come the same week. What takes 30 to 60 days is getting the cost per booked job down — that needs real search-term data and enough conversions for the bidding to learn from.

Do I need a website?

You need a page that loads fast on a phone and puts your number and a quote form where someone can reach you in one tap. That is a lower bar than a full website. If it is the thing standing between you and running ads properly, say so — better to solve it than to buy clicks that land somewhere slow.

Will you work with another solar installer in my area?

No. Bidding two clients against each other in the same auction raises both their costs and only one can win the click. Worth asking any agency before you sign anything.

Am I locked in?

No. Month to month, cancel any time, and the Google Ads account stays yours — with all the history and conversion data in it. If we are not earning the fee you should be able to leave without a phone call about it.
